Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be of sound physical and mental health, and hold a valid Maine driver’s license. Graduate from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy preferred.

WORKS TRUCK DRIVER/LABORER
This
position is a full time, semi-skilled manual labor job for the Municipal
Highway Department. The position requires the operation of light to
moderately heavy trucks and all truck attachments; as well as the use of
several pieces of heavy equipment. Knowledge of municipal road
maintenance, vehicle repair and maintenance and OSHA regulations
desirable. Special requirements include; A or B commercial driver’s
license, experience in winter road plowing and sanding and to be insurable
under the Town’s vehicle insurance coverage. A job description for this

Part-Time Police Officer Positions
The Richmond Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, individual for the position of Part-Time Police Officer. Interested candidates must hold a valid Maine driver’s license and possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Candidates are required to successfully complete a personal interview, thorough background investigation. We offer highly competitive pay and will be based on level of Maine Criminal Justice Academy certifications and individual experience.

On-Call
EMT/Firefighters
The Richmond Fire Department is seeking EMT’s
to fill the department's on-call schedule that is broken into 12 hour
blocks. Richmond Fire Department is a
paid-per-call department that answers approximately 568 calls per year for
service providing EMS non-transport first responder service, as well as fire
suppression, vehicle extrication, water rescue and emergency management
services to a rural/suburban community of 3,400. The department is beginning a pilot program
to staff an on-call schedule that compensates $50 per 12 hour block, or $100
for 24 hours, in addition to an hourly rate of $13.00 per hour when on a
call. The department provides living
quarters when on call for those that live out of town. Applications can be
