Soccer Registrations are due by Thursday, July 30th.
New this year - Kids in preK through 6th grade are invited to play. And 5th & 6th graders will be put together for a travel team (we'll try to limit traveling to within 30 minutes of Richmond).
Children entering preschool through sixth grade are allowed to participate in this soccer program. The participants will be placed into the following groups:
- Little Kickers - Preschoolers and Kindergardeners, however children old enough to be in first grade should play with the Rookies.
- Rookies - 1st and 2nd graders
- Minors - 3rd and 4th graders
- Majors - 5th and 6th graders
The soccer season is an eight week season, beginning the week before school starts; the 3rd or 4th week of August through the middle of October. Little Kickers, Rookie and Minor players will have one one-hour practice on a week night with one game on Saturday mornings. Major players will have three to four practices/games per week, they're schedule will vary each week depending on the game schedule, which will include traveling to other communities; games will be during the week and on Saturdays.
Coaches Meeting –Wednesday, August 19th at 6pm
Practices begin Week of August 24th – this is one week later than last year, but it’s the same week school starts
First Game – August 29th
Picture Day – October 3rd
Last Game – October 17th
End of Season Event – October 24th
End of Season Coaches Meeting – Monday, October 26th at 6pm
